Exploring Connection: Embodied Tools for Attachment Healing

Online | June 1, 2024, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, Pacific Time

Description

Become a secure base from which your clients can safely explore relationship. This brief workshop offers a simple framework for engaging and evolving attachment dynamics using curiosity and experimentation within a therapeutic relationship. Drawing from Hakomi, interpersonal neurobiology, attachment theory and Primary Attachment Therapy, this approach is accessible, dynamic and adaptable to many scopes of practice. Techniques include eyes-open mindfulness, working in the radical immediacy of the transpiring present moment, tracking, contacting, validating and facilitating shared explorations. Appropriate for somatic practitioners at any level of experience, this approach is practical, creative and fun.
